How to Spend a Day at Magic Kingdom

How to Spend a Day at the Magic Kingdom

One of the best things about Disney World is that it’s perfect for all ages. That being said no matter your age during your visit you’ll feel like a child again. That’s why these suggestions, I think, are perfect for all ages and you’ll want to revisit for ages to come.

Adventureland

Walt Disney’s Tiki Room- Looking for a tropical escape accompanied by some talking birds? Well then you don’t want to miss the Tiki Room! If you need a break from the heat, this air condition room filled with animatronic birds who will crack a few jokes is a good place to rest. Pay attention to the windows, you might see a few scenery and weather changes.

Jungle Cruise- Give your feet a rest and climb aboard for a boat tour that passes through Asia, Africa and South America. You’ll be accompanied by a witty tour guide as you gaze upon scenic views and wildlife.

Pirates of the Caribbean- Sail into the swashbuckling world of 18th century pirates right out of the movie. You’ll feel all too close to these fellows and maybe even part of the crew.

Frontierland

Big Thunder Mountain Railroad- Get ready to relive America’s gold rush on this rollercoaster. Rush past cactuses and boulders on top of a mountain through an old mine shaft. This will probably be the rockiest train ride that you’ve ever experienced and perfect for young adventurers.

Liberty Square

Haunted Mansion- A line that is definitely worth the wait, and possibly has the most spookiest elevator, that takes you to some rather spooky destinations. You’ll pass through graveyards and get a peak at some ghoulish dancing in the ballroom of this Haunted Mansion. Each room surpasses the next and puts you in the halloween mood.

Fantasyland

Cinderella’s Castle- A great way to start the day at the Magic Kingdom would be having breakfast at Cinderella’s Castle. Cinderella herself is there to greet you upon your arrival and the castle itself seems to be right out of a fairytale(maybe because it actually is).

Prince Charming Regal Carrousel- After admiring Cinderella’s castle the next stop on your itinerary should be Prince Charming’s Regal Carrousel.

It’s a Small World- There’s never a shortage of boat rides at Disney and this one takes you across all parts of the globe. The singing children are sure to get the song stuck in your head and by the end of the ride you’ll feel like the world is not so big after all.

Mad Tea Party- Time to take a trip over to Wonderland and have tea with the Mad Hatter. These perfectly themed Tea cups make you feel like your in the movie and are sure to make your trip feel complete.

Peter Pan’s Flight- Never thought I would soar through the air on a pirate ship over 20th century London(and Neverland), but anything is possible at Disney! You’ll actually feel like you’re flying on this ride and during your flight you’ll see all the familiar faces from movie.

Seven Dwarfs mine train- If you’ve been wondering what a trip to the enchanted forest would be like then now is your chance! On this rollercoaster you’ll whizz past some memorable scenes in the Snow White movie, take a slow ride up to the top of the mine where the dwarves are working, and then next to the cottage you can sneak a peak of Snow White and the dwarves dancing inside.

Under the Sea: The Little Mermaid- If taking a trip to Ariel’s world while riding in a clam shell has always been a dream of yours then make it a reality on your visit to the Magic Kingdom. On this ride you’ll catch glimpses of scenes from the Little Mermaid(along with all the iconic songs).

Tomorrowland

Monsters, Inc. Laugh Floor- A great stop during the day if you have little kiddos with you, or if you need a break from the rain or cold. Mike Wazowski will definitely bring a smile to your face.

Walt Disney’s Carousel of Progress- I’m not sure if words can describe how much I loved the Carousel of Progress, but I’ll give it a try. Now, I know most people may recommend to skip this one if it’s your first time, but I 100% disagree(but then again I’m always more interested in the history aspect of things). Also, another thing to note, I was working as a nanny on my first visit to Disney and both the kids loved it so much we had to do it a second time! By the end of round two the youngest came out singing the song. Disney’s Carousel of Progress takes you on a trip through four different decades of innovation and invention all while being narrated by a family of animatronic robots in a rotating theater (so you’ll never have to leave your seat)!
